    Hello,

    I am posting this in Web Tools forum as there is no forum for the plugin I’m referring to .

    I recently used Generate Child Theme to create a child of Catch Base. The plugin automatically creates a link at the bottom of the theme with my name (the creator) in an anchor tag. The url for the anchor tag is the website I’ve built but I would like to change that url to a different destination. How would I do that?

    Thank you,
    Caustin

    @caustin: For this Go to => Child Theme Folder => style.css => After Author: add Author URI: #link with the link where you what it to be redirected.

    Let me know if this is what you want!
    Kind Regards,

    @skandha,

    Initially I tried adding Theme URI:, then I tried your suggestion Author URI:, then I moved it under the Author: declaration and none of those have worked. I have disabled the caching plugin, cleared browser cache, and tested in a different browser. The link reflects whatever page I’m on.

    I have also tested by changing the Author:name and Theme:name declarations in the style.css file and none of those changes are reflected in the footer information when the page is rendered in a browser.

    Thanks for your help,
    caustin

    Here is what style.css looks like:

    /*
    Theme Name: Catch Base Caustic
    Author: Christopher L. Austin
    Author URI: https://www.austinwelch.com/
    Description: Customization for client
    Version: 1.0
    Template: catch-base

    This is the child theme for Catch Base theme, generated with Generate Child Theme plugin by catchthemes.

    (optional values you can add: Theme URI, Author URI, License, License URI, Tags, Text Domain)
    */

    Okay…. sooooo….. nevermind. It appears to be working now. Perhaps the cache didn’t clear as I thought it had.

    Thanks again Catch People!

    Your review will help others know what to expect when they’re looking for the support I offer. Even a sentence or two would be hugely appreciated. Thanks, and if there’s anything else at all that I can do to help,
