    Hey support team,

I’m currently experiencing issues on connecting my website to Instagram. Error message is “Application does not have permission for this action”. I logged out several times but with no effect.

    URL is blickaufdiewelt.de

Any helpful ideas what I could try ?

    Thanks

    Michael

@murmelgrumpf : Can you please let me know the type of account that you have used to connect to Instagram ?

    Regards,

    Hi Tikaram,

First of all I should say, that it already worked for many months. There no changes … except of content … from my side.

what do you mean by type of Insta account ?  It’s a “usual” private account. Which info can I provide you with exactly?

    Best

@murmelgrumpf : It looks like you have not provided the required permission to access the media items. Please logout and try to connect the app once again. while authorizing please make sure that Media (Optional) is checked and click on allow. Let me know if this helps resolve your issue.

    Regards,
    Tikaram

That finally worked. I wasn’t shown that dialogue with optional media as I was logging in with a password manager. Once I skipped that and logged in manually, the dailogue with the checkbox showed up.

Thanks a lot Tikaram .. and have a wonderful weekend.
