I have installed the essential content type plugin as a way of adding testimonials to a Catch Theme.

Having done that this is the result I get:

Is there a way I can use the theme default quotes style (or make a custom style) and alter the font and font size to make these much more readable and attractive to encourage people to read them?

Given that I will likely purchase a PRO version of a new catch theme, I can’t also justify paying for the plugin as an extra.

@landyvlad: Hello there,
Yes, you can style the testimonial section alter font and font size as you want.
But since the theme you are testing Adventurous it does not have a Testimonial Section you will to implement it by using shortcode.

You can check out our newer themes that has a testimonial slider section in the customizer which will look more attractive than a static testimonial text. You can select the testimonial section from the customizer itself and wont have to use shortcodes.
