Hello
I have been trying to create a child them to be able to style the site my way, but after creating the child theme i go to the customiser and try and change the sidebar from the right to the left, and nothing happens.
I have tried various setting in the customiser but they have no effect at all on the theme.
How it it that i can not use the customiser at all for any settings ?
any help would be amazing

@flatdog: Please post in your site URL and let me know which theme you are using.
Does the settings in the customizer change when you activate the parent theme?
