My website is Smalltownreview.com. I purchased a updated Catch Katmandu Pro license. I tried installing the update using Catch Web Tools – Catch updater. I have “yes” marked that I wanted it to update my theme. The theme loaded, but it did not update to my information. I have deleted the theme multiple times and tried uploading it again. I’ve watched the video on how to do it. I have added my license number. I don’t know what else to try other than redoing my website using this new theme. Wasn’t as seamless as I was hoping.

Good news. I was able to reload my header image. Change Theme Options > Featured content options > Content type > Demo to Custom and my homepage was pretty much restored. My widgets/ads, also reverted to an older set up, but I like them better. May be this will help someone else.

I created a staging site using WP Staging, prior to uploading the new theme. So I was able to switch back and forth between the staged site and the new upload to help restore my settings.
