We, the Catch Plugins team have changed our Instagram Plugin’s name from “Catch Instagram Feed Gallery & Widget” to “Gallery and Widget for Instagram”.
The reason behind this sudden name change is related to trademark violation. We actually received an email from the WordPress.org Plugin Review team about the violation of trademark that came along with the plugin’s name. However, we were not aware of the subject. As soon as we received the email, we decided to change our plugin’s name to Gallery and Widget for Instagram which was previously known as Catch Instagram Feed Gallery & Widget.
A little about the plugin…
Gallery and Widget for Instagram is a free Instagram plugin for WordPress that provides you an easier way to display photos from your Instagram account on your site. The images can be drawn using the username of your Instagram account. The plugin was released in the year 2017 and within this short period of time, it has already crossed 10K active installations on the WordPress.org platform.
